So right off there back I love this idea. As a kid I always loved those choose your own adventure books, its very exciting to see this in a movie/tv format.
A few choices in and I’m like fuck, I’m gonna have to watch this a few times thru making different decisions to see how it plays out. Its just like video games that have multiple endings, I’m always indecisive on the route I want to take, I always have to have a few run thru and experience every possible outcome.
I made a choice and one of the main characters told me, “wrong path mate”, fuck, I’m fucked. I already want to restart lol. … but wait, I see… this is dope!!!! Just like those books saying flip to page 47 to reveal you fucked up so you gotta go back, the movie fast forwarded thru what I had just watched and brought me back to the decision point I messed up, BUT the character that had told me “wrong path mate” was acting different, what could that mean?
But I did just run into a decision point that had only one choice so I don’t get the point of that. But moving on… (Found out from one of the links below there is a way to unlock another choice here)

As always Black Mirror delivers a fucking killer story, I’m not even half way thru and this story is amazing, without giving spoilers thats all I can say, its incredible, I love this type of story telling, black mirror makes me want to get back into writing for sure.
I don’t want to give to much about this experience away but this was a really sick idea that was executed very well, its really cool(spoiler) how you control this characters fate and they start to become aware, you almost feel like a mad scientist running an experiment.
I highly recommend that you watch this at least once, who knows you may find yourself going thru it a few times lol.

Okay, I finished it… and as I said half thru it, it was amazing, what an awesome concept that they pulled off beautifully. That was an awesome experience, an awesome story, awesome outcomes, an awesome ending, in typical Black Mirror fashion. Now like I said before I may have to go back and watch it a few more times to see how much I can change the beginning, middle and end of this story.
IMO, this was a huge success for Netflix, Black Mirror, and the future of interactive media.

SideNote: I loved how they included Netflix into the choices, very meta of them, lol. (That ending is being called the Meta Ending lol)
I wanted to expand on this : “how you control this characters fate and they start to become aware” I absolutely loved how instead of the story just unfolding with what decisions we made, with the character being none the wiser like in typical choose your own adventure book, they made the character become aware he was being controlled but also weaved in a mental health issue
